Commercial Property Asset Manager – Historic Landed Estate
Madison Berkeley is currently recruiting for a client-side Commercial Property Asset Manager, based in West London. The position would see you joining a Landed Estate with offices in both London and South West. The Property Asset Manager will be responsible for the entire commercial portfolio, working alongside the Head of Property. The commercial property portfolio is made up of London offices, national retail parks, industrial estates, and agricultural land with the role helping to manage all assets.
About the firm
* The business owns a portfolio of circa £500 million.
* Portfolio management including property management, asset management, leasing, acquisitions, and disposals.
* Diverse range of assets including office space, retail parks, industrial estates, and agricultural land.
Duties include
* Full Property Management lifecycle duties.
* Consulting with tenants and managing agents negotiating rent reviews & lease renewals, new lettings.
* Preparing properties for sale and producing due diligence and reports for new acquisitions.
* Implementing the strategic plan for each property, including the securing and implementation of planning permissions as applicable.
* Project managing refurbishments, manage capex spend and development programmes.
* Assisting with the preparation of annual Estate and service charge budgets.
Preferred Candidate
* Minimum of two years’ experience in Commercial Property Management.
* Whilst not essential, the preferred candidate would be a qualified Chartered Surveyor.
* Experience and an appreciation of the importance of health & safety policies and risk assessments.
* Knowledge of Property Management Systems, specifically QUBE.
