We are currently recruiting a Production Operative to work on a temporary-to-permanent basis at one of our clients, within their Product Manufacturing department. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment and is ideal for candidates with previous production, assembly, or basic fabrication experience. The position involves a range of general production duties, including glueing components, dipping plastic parts into primer and specialist paints, preparing foam for packaging, and supporting the wider manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities Glueing and assembling production components Dipping plastic parts into primer and specialist coatings Preparing foam for packaging Carrying out general production and assembly tasks Preparing materials required for manufacturing operations Conducting basic quality checks on components and finished products Safely using hand tools and basic power tools Maintaining clean, organised, and safe work areas Supporting colleagues during busy periods to meet production deadlines Adhering to all health & safety procedures and reporting any issues to the Supervisor Candidate Requirements Some experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, or servicing Basic skills using hand tools, power tools, carpentry, or fabrication techniques A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Health & Safety Requirement (Important) Due to the nature of the work at the client’s site, wearing PPE is mandatory, including an ABEK protective mask. Candidates must be willing and able to wear the required PPE at all times while working in this area. Candidates unwilling to comply with PPE requirements cannot be considered.
