Fawkes & Reece are working with a large Plumbing contractor who are working on a Retrofit scheme in South Shields. The contractor is looking for a Freelance Site Manager to start in February for 2-3 months but could extended.
The successful Manager will preferably come from a background within the social housing sector, be based within the South Shields area or within travelling distance.
Responsibilities:
Managing trades and Labour
Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed within set deadlines.
Reporting progress to senior management.
Ensuring work is completed to the agreed high standards.
Coordinating teams of workers and subcontractors
Maintaining quality control checks
Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
Ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are being adhered too

SMSTS
First Aid At Work
CSCS Card
Previous experience in Social Housing/Retrofit
Own transport

Monday - Friday working week, 40-45 Hours per Week
£28 Per Hour CIS/UMB
2-3 months work, could be extended
