Section Engineer - Contract (Devonport, Plymouth) Location: Devonport, Plymouth (full-time site based) Rate: Up to £450/day (Umbrella PAYE, all-in) Hours: 45 hours per week (approx. 08:00-17:00) Contract: Ongoing contract role Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer to take ownership of a defined section of works on a major infrastructure project at Devonport, within a live MOD environment. Reporting into line management, you will lead site engineering activities, ensuring technical compliance, quality delivery, and safe execution of works. This role requires a proactive approach, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage junior engineers while interfacing with subcontractors and key stakeholders. Security & Eligibility (Essential) Due to the nature of the project, candidates must be eligible for BPSS clearance (process can take up to 8 weeks).
