We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
* Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are served consistently.
* Train, supervise, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Maintain inventory control by ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
* Implement and uphold food safety standards and practices throughout the kitchen.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and excellent customer experiences.
* Assist in budgeting and cost management to optimize kitchen profitability.
* Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for kitchen staff.
* Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
Experience
* Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the food industry.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends.
* Experience in quick service, fast food, casual dining environments is highly desirable.
* Background in staff training, development, and team management is essential.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Strong customer service orientation with an understanding of hospitality management principles.
