At Habitat ReStore, individuals will gain work experience in the area of collections and managing the donations received in the warehouse. Individuals will assist with collections from individual or corporate donors in the surrounding area. Tasks will include being out in the lorry or van to local homes or businesses to collection donations, assisting with the unloading of the items to the donation centre, ensuring all times are labelled and recording, and moving stock to the shop floor.
Essential Skills
This work experience opportunity is expected to last for 8 weeks and will require attendance of 25-30 hrs p/w While on Work Experience, participants will retain their entitlement to benefit. Those who are not receiving benefit are also welcome to participate. Travel and childcare costs may be reimbursed. Participants will also receive an incentive payment equivalent to £10/day to a maximum of £50/week.
