We are currently looking for a Commercial Manager
The primary objectives of the role
* Putting customers first you will develop and implement commercial strategies across a portfolio of new and existing customers, building true partnership relationships and taking responsibility for commercial performance.
* Working with our customers to build business plans to achieve sustainable growth, including new product launches and range reviews.
* Taking the lead on expanding our customer base, product development, spotting opportunities, to manage forecasting and exploring and securing new relationships to create commercial value.
* Managing customer forecasts with the wider internal organisation.
* In collaboration with the insight team deliver regular reporting to help improve performance and to inform decision making.
* A strong understanding of commercial performance and what levers a business can be used to influence that performance.
* Ability to clearly convey relevant updates to senior management.
* Proven project management skills are required, which demonstrate your take great care in your work to deliver.
* Proactive and Flexible – able to take responsibility to get things done and willing to ‘roll up your sleeves and’ get stuck in whenever needed.
* Overall responsibility for customer relationship management for new products, engaging the product developer in proactive ways to build the relationship and where possible influence the direction of development.
* Ensure all customer paperwork is provided for NPD samples as required.
* Working closely with the broader commercial team currently present and new category concepts to customers backed up by rationale.
* Play a key role in the planning and execution of range reviews with stakeholders.
* Demonstrate a flexible working attitude, to support the business through key seasonal training period and in line with the MM Flowers’ Peak Charter
