Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Education & Progress Manager to lead on the development, monitoring, and improvement of learner outcomes across all curriculum areas at HMYOI Werrington.
This role is central to driving high-quality teaching, robust assessment practices, and continuous academic progress for all learners. You will lead on data-driven decision-making, implement effective intervention strategies, and ensure teaching excellence across the department.
Alongside management responsibilities, you will also play an active role in classroom delivery to maintain strong visibility and influence across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategic Development
* Lead the development and implementation of the whole-department strategy for raising attainment and progress.
* Work collaboratively with curriculum leads and senior management to set ambitious performance targets.
* Drive a culture of high expectations, consistency, and continuous quality improvement.
