1. Assess affordability of Partner loan applications for approval by Lending Managers.
2. Preparation/issue of lending deeds and documents as required, ensuring compliance with FCA, CCA and Companies House records.
3. Work with external lenders to minimise use of SJP funds used in bridging transactions in line with targets.
4. Liaise as appropriate with the SJP Partnership at all levels to assist conversations around lending.
5. Work with members of the Partner Finance team to ensure loans to the Partnership are repaid and credit losses are minimized.
6. Own the process and relevant administration required to recover Partner debt, including conversations with the Field and Partnership.
7. Work closely with the Regulatory Authorizations team to support the offboarding or transfer of Partners and Advisers who have debt.

8. Strong administration skills and a competent user of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
9. Analytical skills and comfortable with manipulation of data in Excel.
10. Disciplined time and priority management skills, to deliver to deadlines and manage internal stakeholders.
11. Self-motivated, methodical and able to work using own initiative.
12. Strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy when reviewing data.
13. An understanding of the different trading entities used by the SJP Partnership and their tax structures.
14. Good understanding of the Partner Lending scheme and able to apply SJP lending principles to enable efficient and successful analysis of loan applications.
15. A good level of financial literacy - able to calculate financial settlements and identify the required actions to achieve the appropriate financial outcome.
16. Strong relationship building skills – able to navigate potentially challenging or sensitive conversations.
Special Requirements:
The role Is suitable for an Individual who needs to work flexibly, including working from home. There may be an occasional requirement to work outside of hours, where key deadlines are approaching.
