Clinical Negligence Legal Assistant

Sheffield – £24,000 - £28,000

A Clinical Negligence Legal Assistant/Secretary is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Legal 500 law firm based in Sheffield. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

My client is an award-winning, chambers-rated firm with an excellent reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Legal Assistant/Secretary to join their highly regarded department where you will support solicitors in delivering an exceptional service to clients pursuing medical negligence claims.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners in the Clinical Negligence department
* Prepare, format, and amend legal documents and correspondence using digital dictation
* Manage diaries, arrange appointments, and coordinate meetings and travel as required
* Liaise professionally with clients, medical experts, and other legal professionals
* Maintain accurate case management records and file documentation
* Handle incoming calls, emails, and post in a timely and efficient manner

You will ideally have at least 1 year’s experience as a Legal Secretary or Assistant within Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury, or a related litigation area. Experience working with an electronic case management system would be a distinct advantage. In addition, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and professional approach.
