The Role

We are looking to recruit a Directorate Secretary to join the Trauma & Orthopaedics team at University Hospital Wishaw.

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Directorate Secretary to join the Trauma & Orthopaedics team at University Hospital Wishaw.

The Directorate Secretary will provide an effective, efficient and comprehensive service to the Service Managers, Consultants, Admin Co-ordinator, Senior Nurses and other members of management and staff within the Directorate.

This includes incorporating a range of secretarial and administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Fixed-term or Secondment until 31 March 2026

Band 4 / Full Time / 37 hours

What We'll Need You To Bring

* Self-motivated person with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Office experience in a secretarial position or equivalent relevant qualifications (HNC/SVQ in secretarial studies) and secretarial experience
* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and accurate keyboard skills.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Ability to liaise with staff at all levels
* Ability to work under pressure
