Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join its dynamic team as a Senior Associate or Partner out of their Hertfordshire office. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of corporate transactions and advisory work within a supportive and ambitious team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, and joint ventures
* Provide strategic advice on shareholder agreements, fundraising activities, and general corporate matters
* Engage in business development with a diverse client base, from startups to established institutions, often involving international elements
* Mentor junior team members and participate in business development initiatives to expand the firm's corporate practice
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate law
* Proven track record in handling transactional work, with the ability to manage caseloads independently
* Ability to bill £200k+
