Camp Manager - October Half-term (20th - 24th October)
Join our management team at Camp Beaumont to play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable, award-winning experiences for children. You will be at the heart of our operations, guiding and supporting our team to deliver exceptional day camp programs and ensuring the well-being of all our young camp members.
Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for a multi-activity day camp for 3 to 14-year-olds during summer and school holiday weekdays.
* Act as the point of motivation, support and direction for camp staff; demonstrate knowledge and experience in a childcare setting and in managing small teams.
* Communicate effectively with parents and work closely with the Area Manager and other departments to ensure smooth camp operations.
About you
* Over 18 years old
* Available to work during the school holidays
* A UK/EU citizen with 2 x right to work IDs
* Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team
* Possess energy and enthusiasm; passionate about working with children
* Have initiative and the ability to work independently
* High level of safeguarding awareness
* Paediatric first aid is desirable or available as part of our training
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare (early years, QTS/PGCE) or studying towards a relevant childcare qualification is essential
* Experience as a teacher, supply teacher, nursery manager, room leader, freelance dance or art workshop instructor, or previous activity day camp experience is valued
