Position Role: Principal SO2 focussed on developing and co-ordinating RE-specific people policy and supporting the wider outputs of RHQ RE. Responsibilities: 1. Develop, deliver and maintain all RE & QGE CM and Pers related policy as directed by SO1 People. 2. Plan, coord and deliver all RE pan-Defence JSJET Job Evaluation interactions to inform future pay rates (tri-annually). 3. Develop and publish RE & QGE People Policy Notes (PPNs) for 'Personnel' related matters on behalf of RHQ RE. 4. Manage all RE & QGE trade structures and conduct reviews as directed by the RE Workforce Plan and AHQ. 5. Support SO1 People (Reserves)/ D Ed Cap on development of training and accreditation for Corps Reserves. 6. Plan, coord and deliver bi-annual Corps Pers conferences. 7. Lead RHQ RE rep for QGE matters. 8. Deputise for SO1 People and represent RHQ RE personnel as required Domestic Considerations: The role will require frequent UK-based travel for meetings, occasionally overnight, rarely at weekends.
