Mission Care is a Christian charity founded in 1904, providing residential and nursing care for over 200 residents in five homes across South East London. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Nurse to join our experienced clinical teams and support the care staff in providing person-centred care for our residents at Willett House Nursing Home.

Main duties include
* Support leadership team in staff performance management and supervision
* Motivate and mentor staff, including onboarding and coaching new team members
* Conduct effective handovers and ensure continuity of care
* Maintain staffing levels through effective rota management
* Assist HR and management in staff investigations and performance reviews
* Ensure high standards of person-centred care, supporting residents physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
* Supervise Care Assistants, nurses and contribute to care planning and implementation
* Facilitate therapeutic activities, outings, and social engagement
* Ensure person cantered care provided to all residents
* Support and work with Wellbeing lead in planning activities and engagement for residents
* Assess residents and develop comprehensive care plans
* Administer medications in line with home policies
* Ensure safe moving and handling practices within the home
* Cary out GP rounds and support other professional visits
* Monitor and supervise staff time keeping
* Monitor residents health and respond to changes in condition
* Conduct clinical audits and report findings
* Provide end-of-life care in accordance with best practices
* Maintain accurate records and ensure effective handovers
