Customer Service Associate – Temp (Ongoing)

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Customer Service Associate to join their team in Crewe on a temporary ongoing basis – with an immediate start available.

About the Opportunity
Due to multiple absences within the team, our client is looking for extra support within their Customer & Consumer Services function.

The Role
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will act as a central point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring queries and orders are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing customer enquiries, complaints, and service requests end-to-end
* Processing orders, billing, credits, debits, and refunds
* Monitoring orders and ensuring compliance with processes and regulations
* Acting as a SPOC for customers, suppliers, and internal teams
* Supporting reporting, escalations, and administrative processes
* Meeting performance KPIs around service delivery and resolution times

What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
* Previous experience in a customer service role (minimum 1 year)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* A proactive, team-focused approach
Experience with systems such as SAP is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Working Pattern
* 36 hours per week
* Shift pattern between 7:00am – 5:30pm (early and late rotations)
