Property Risk Engineer Stanford Real Estate Partners are working on an exciting mandate for a Property Risk Engineer - ideally an ambitious insurance professional who is looking to move in-house, into a fast-paced, international environment. Our client is an established property investor/asset manager with assets in major European countries including the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy and France.
The client needs a Property Risk Engineer to help reduce the cost of property insurance claims and safeguard their assets.
The Property Risk Engineer will also play an important part in advancing their ESG goals. Salary offered is negotiable (circa £100,000 base plus bonus and benefits including pension).
Work with insurers, brokers, colleagues, and property managers to manage risk engineering inspections and act on recommendations.
Investigate claims trends and share insights that improve processes.
The Property Risk Engineer will develop clear, practical risk-reduction standards and provide training to raise awareness.
Support construction and development teams to ensure insurance and risk controls are handled effectively.
Visit key sites to strengthen local risk control efforts.
Look for opportunities to cut the cost of claims and premiums for the business/clients.
The Property Risk Engineer will contribute to wider risk management activities, including health and safety initiatives and business continuity plans.
CII, IRM, IOSH/NEBOSH).
Demonstrable experience in property insurance risk roles like Engineering or Loss Control within an international setting ideally.
Strong technical knowledge in risk control, fire protection, modern construction materials, and fire codes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others to manage property risks.
