Sous Chef
Our client in Southampton is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to take charge of a busy and vibrant kitchen on a temporary basis.

Hours
Monday to Thursday 7:00am–3:00pm, Friday 7:00am–1:00pm. Fixed weekday schedule.
The role of a Sous Chef
* Running the kitchen operation independently and managing breakfast and lunch service
* Leading a team of two Kitchen Assistants throughout each shift
* Maintaining consistent food quality and service standards across a range of cuisines
* Ensuring full compliance with food safety and health and hygiene requirements
The ideal Sous Chef candidate
* Proven experience running a kitchen independently with strong leadership and organisational skills
* Confident delivering breakfast and lunch service to a consistent standard
* Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Health and Hygiene certification
* Full set of chef whites and knives required
* Well-presented, reliable and professional with an excellent work ethic
