Due to continued growth, the client is looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor on a part-time basis to start ASAP at their offices in Tilbury. The role will primarily involve supporting a high volume of employee relations cases and engaging in project work to enhance the HR function and promote best practices across the business.
Description
As a Senior HR Advisor, your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on various HR matters such as policies, pay, benefits, and employment legislation.
* Staying updated with employment law and implementing any changes effectively within the business.
* Leading disciplinary and grievance investigations and advising line managers on processes and outcomes.
* Preparing for negotiation meetings with Unions.
* Assisting the admin team with payroll processing.
* Supporting the HR manager with recruitment activities.
* Collaborating with OH to monitor and reduce absence levels.
* Leading and supporting ad hoc HR projects.
Profile
The ideal candidate will:
* Be CIPD qualified or qualified by experience.
* Have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Be confident managing complex ER cases from start to finish and leading investigations.
* Be able to work at least 25 hours per week on a part-time basis.
* Be local to Tilbury.
* Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Maintain a professional approach.
