Salary: £25K Basic Uncapped Commission (Realistic OTE £29-40K) About the Role Global Insight Conferences is seeking a commercially-driven Sponsorship Sales Manager to secure sponsorship revenue across our growing portfolio of high-level B2B conferences. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tenacious, solution-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. You will take ownership of sponsorship sales campaigns for multiple events, managing both new business development and long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate is strategic yet hands-on, confident both on the phone and face-to-face, and able to manage multiple commercial campaigns with energy and precision. Your Responsibilities Market & Client Insight: Conduct in-depth market research to identify commercial opportunities, audience segments, key industry trends and competitor positioning. Business Development: Proactively engage new and existing clients, uncover their challenges, and offer tailored sponsorship solutions that deliver ROI and build lasting partnerships. Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales plans aligned with event goals, working closely with production, marketing and operations teams. Revenue Ownership: Own your revenue targets, pipeline and key accounts, delivering consistent performance and regular internal reporting. Lead Generation & CRM: Identify, qualify and manage your sales leads, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records using excel. Sponsorship Delivery: Work with internal teams to ensure all sold packages are fulfilled to the highest standard and client expectations are exceeded. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with event producers, marketers, and content teams to ensure unified messaging and event success. Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on trends across the sectors relevant to your portfolio by reading industry media, attending events, and engaging with thought leaders. Event Attendance: Represent the company onsite at events to drive client engagement, renewals, and future business opportunities. What We're Looking For Skills No experience needed, other than 1 year continuous service in any role, office based Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets Strong consultative sales and account management skills Confident communicator with a persuasive, professional manner Commercially minded and comfortable selling to senior decision-makers Familiar with CRM systems, sales reporting and lead generation Strong time management and organisational skills Mindset Resilient, positive and self-motivated Results-driven and ambitious Collaborative, proactive and client-focused Adaptable with a genuine desire to grow personally and professionally Ambitious and target driven Why Join Global Insight Conferences?
