Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our successful Humanities department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students to explore and appreciate history.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop the curriculum.
* Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
What Were Looking For
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Specialism in History or a related subject.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Enthusiasm for inspiring students and fostering a love of history.
