About the Role:
We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who are ready to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs. You’ll be providing 1:1 and small group support, helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a deeply rewarding opportunity where no two days are the same!
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Supporting students from early years through to young adulthood with severe learning difficulties and additional needs.
2. Working closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored learning support.
3. Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
4. Assisting with classroom activities and encouraging student participation.
5. Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm – enjoy your weekends off!
6. Term-time only position – perfect for work-life balance.
What We're Looking For:
1. A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them grow – essential!
2. Experience or understanding of autism, learning disabilities, and other SEN.
3. A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply.
4. Positive attitude, strong initiative, and the ability to follow guidance from teaching staff – essential qualities!
