Responsibilities
* You will lead and coordinate the Homecare service across the Trust, overseeing operational and staff management responsibilities with oversight from the Pharmacy Team Manager.
* Work collaboratively to develop new services and review existing homecare service specifications.
* Liaise with homecare providers and procurement to resolve payment and pricing issues.
* Ensure regular quality and financial reporting, audits, and performance reviews.
* You will participate in staff recruitment, induction, appraisals, training, and manage performance issues in line with Trust HR procedures.
* Lead continuous improvement through audit, governance, risk assessment, SOP development, and patient/service user feedback.
* Promote excellent customer service, effective communication, and a positive learning environment.
* You will be professionally and managerially responsible for Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants working within Homecare services.
* You will assist the Team Manager Homecare Services with the delivery, development, and monitoring of Homecare medicines services, working proactively and innovatively to meet organisational goals.
* This role includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, strategic development, financial oversight, and direct service improvement.
* You will ensure compliance with professional, legal, and quality standards to support excellent patient care.
Qualifications
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified registered pharmacy technician, with previous experience in a senior supervisory position, who is able to take a pro‑active approach and willing to take a lead in the development of the pharmacy service.
