Part-Time Events Manager (Contract)
Location: Hybrid – 1 day/week in Fareham office, 1 day/week remote, plus full attendance required for 3-day event in London
Contract Duration: Immediate start until March 2026
Day Rate: £198 - £220 per day

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Events Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile national trade show in London. This is a part-time contract role (2 days per week), with flexibility around event dates and full attendance required during the 3-day event.

4. Footfall: Approx. 2,500 attendees per day
5. Budget: Circa £150,000
Key Responsibilities
6. Full end-to-end project management of the event
7. Coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners
8. Budget ownership and reporting
9. Oversight of logistics, branding, stand design, delegate experience, and post-event wrap-up
10. On-site presence for the full duration of the event
11. Ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
What We’re Looking For
12. Proven experience managing trade show events of similar scale
13. Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
14. Hands-on, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently
15. No requirement for optical industry experience
