Salary: Starting from £70,000, depending on experience, plus a car allowance and bonus opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Lead Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our architectural solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
* Optimizing architecture solutions to align with schedules, scope, requirements, and strategic objectives.
* Influencing stakeholders at all levels, from Directors to Subject Matter Experts, while leading a team of architects to achieve consensus on solutions.
* Designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions using the latest SIEMENS CAD & PLM software.
* Integrating with existing CAM, MES, and ERP solutions to support quality, testing, construction, and manufacturing processes.
* Evaluating and selecting technologies and vendors to meet the needs of BAE’s Submarine programme.
* Collaborating with technology and software partners to resolve complex technical challenges.
* Developing and maintaining enterprise architecture frameworks that align business demands with industry best practices.
* Managing governance processes to ensure that solution builds meet architectural and design quality criteria.
Your Skills and Experiences:
Essential:
* Experience as a CAD and PLM Consultant/Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing solutions for large engineering programmes.
* Familiarity with architecture repository tools such as Enterprise Architect and architecture modeling frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging at all levels and during business change events.
Desirable:
* Experience with JIRA and Confluence or similar collaboration technologies supporting agile delivery methodologies.
* Knowledge of SAP and PE&O product suites or similar for large manufacturing projects.

By joining our team, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our largest Submarine programme. Collaborate with external partners to innovate and create submarine designs. Our shipyard is committed to enhancing the submarine design discipline, leveraging digital thread capabilities to boost business performance.
