Responsibilities of the Sr. Medical Director:
* Provide day-to-day clinical oversightto a multidisciplinary provider team, ensuring standards of care align with current evidence-based approaches.
* Deliver comprehensive medical care across the life span, including preventive services, chronic condition management, infectious disease care, and urgent care needs.
* Maintain a continuity model for patient engagement, managing annual checkups, follow-ups, screenings, vaccinations, and treatment of common illnesses.
* Address complex internal medicine and family medicine cases in a coordinated care environment.
* Offer clinical services and support related to prevention and treatment of infectious diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis, and Tuberculosis.
* Lead efforts to develop, implement, and refine clinical workflows, treatment protocols, and provider education tools.
* Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with behavioral health, nursing, and ancillary support teams.
* Assist in identifying and implementing patient safety and quality improvement measures.
* Engage in the recruitment, mentorship, and continuous development of medical staff.
* Promote a work culture rooted in respect, teamwork, and a shared commitment to patient advocacy and health equity.
Requirements of the Sr. Medical Director:
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
* Board Certification/Board Eligible in: Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
* Current and unrestricted Medical License
* Active DEA and Controlled Substance Registration
* Current BLS/CPR Certification

* A deep commitment to the health and well-being of diverse and vulnerable communities.
* Leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching or providing oversight to clinical teams.
