The Job Mission This role supports mechanical engineering delivery on a high-profile nuclear infrastructure programme. You’ll help ensure engineering standards are met and construction activities stay on track. Your future team will guide you as you develop your expertise in a critical project environment. This is a hybrid role, with part of your time spent on-site at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater. You’ll need to be within commutable distance—or be open to relocating, with financial support available to help with the move. Your responsibilities will include: * Assist in preparing and maintaining construction workpacks and documentation * Coordinate with subject experts to define technical scopes * Support surveys, inspections, and access planning for site works * Ensure compliance with relevant safety and engineering standards * Track and prioritise documentation to support ongoing construction * Contribute to permit and work authorisation processes * Liaise with wider teams across mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems * Champion good practice in health, safety, and environmental performance Essential Skills and Qualifications * Degree in mechanical engineering * Exposure to construction or installation projects in regulated environments * Strong communication and coordination skills * Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams ✔️ Desired Skills * CCNSG Safety Passport plus IOSH or NEBOSH certificate * Experience with mechanical workpacks or construction readiness * Familiarity with large infrastructure or energy projects * Knowledge of permit systems or work authorisation procedures * Hands-on involvement in site surveys or field engineering tasks Additional Information Ready to lead the way on one of the UK's biggest clean energy builds?
