As part of our continued growth, were delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant/Autism Practitioner to join our dedicated, close-knit team at Baston House School, part of the Options Autism family.
Youll provide vital support to pupils, working alongside teachers and the multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised learning and care. From helping students thrive academically to supporting their social and emotional development, your role is key to creating an ASD-friendly, nurturing environment where every child can succeed.
This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about empowering young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing environment.
Support teachers to deliver tailored, high-quality education
Provide one-on-one and group support to help students access the curriculum independently
Collaborate on Behaviour Support Profiles, Risk Assessments, Education Plans, and more
Passionate about empowering young people with Autism and additional needs
GCSEs in English and Maths

Baston House is an independent day specialist provider of education and care for young people and adults aged 5 to 19 years who have been diagnosed with Autism (ASC).
