Medical Science Liaison We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison to build trusted, credible partnerships with key opinion leaders and the wider healthcare community. This is a field‑based scientific role focused on the exchange of high‑quality clinical and technical information, supporting education, research and evidence generation across assigned therapy areas. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will act as a scientific expert and point of contact, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support patient care, clinical practice and strategic business objectives. Key responsibilities Build and maintain strong, compliant relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians and academic centres through high‑quality scientific exchange Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute territory or business plans aligned to shared objectives Communicate complex medical and scientific data clearly and accurately to healthcare professionals Provide scientific support in response to unsolicited medical enquiries and ensure appropriate adverse event reporting Act as a trusted clinical and scientific resource for healthcare professionals, professional bodies and advocacy organisations Develop and support speakers through one‑to‑one training on approved clinical and scientific materials Engage with university teaching hospitals, research networks, group purchasing organisations and other medical or scientific groups Support investigator‑initiated research and contribute to the scientific understanding of commercial products Identify and support opportunities for data generation, publications and abstract submissions Partner with researchers and external experts to support evidence generation activities Provide scientific input and support to internal teams including sales, marketing and clinical functions, where appropriate Contribute to continuing medical education activities, medical content review, professional communications and key advocate initiatives Skills and experience Doctorate level qualification such as PharmD, MD or PhD, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Strong scientific knowledge with the ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior healthcare professionals Proven ability to build credible, long‑term professional relationships based on trust and integrity Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams High standards of compliance, professionalism and ethical scientific exchange Why join us This is an opportunity to join a scientifically driven organisation where Medical Science Liaisons play a critical role in shaping clinical understanding, supporting evidence generation and improving patient outcomes.
