Yeovil Audi is looking for a New Car Sales Manager to join our busy and thriving sales team.
This is a rare and unique opportunity for a determined Sales Manager. Working closely with the Used Car Manager, you will lead, develop, and motivate the team to maximise both individual and team performance. Through strong structure, clear mentoring, and confidence-building, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the department's continued success.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have Business/Transaction Manager experience within the automotive industry as a minimum requirement.
You will ideally be a proven leader with retail sales experience in the motor industry and a deep understanding of all areas of a sales department. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the ability to work collaboratively towards shared objectives while maintaining personal performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
As New Car Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Managing the Sales and Sales Administration teams, including the Retail Sales Manager and Sales Support.
* Building strong relationships with the manufacturer, including regular performance reviews.
* Setting clear goals and targets for the sales team.
* Creating rotas and managing holiday entitlement.
* Developing and implementing training plans.
* Handling customer complaints professionally and effectively.
* Strengthening inter-departmental relationships.
* Analysing sales performance (past, present, and future) to identify opportunities.
* Developing creative marketing initiatives to drive sales.
* Designing and executing customer retention and renewal strategies.
* Ensuring effective debtor control.
* Conducting file audits to maintain compliance and standards.
* Managing new car stock trades and ordering.
* Developing and refining robust sales processes.
Basic £37,500 with an OTE £60,000, Uncapped bonus scheme
