Relief Security Officer – East Midlands (Burton & Derby Areas)
Sites include: Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Nationwide, Samworth Brothers
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence + your own vehicle
Shifts: Days, nights, weekends – supporting holiday cover, sickness and short-notice callouts

What You’ll Do
As a Relief Security Officer, you’ll be the reassuring presence that keeps people, property and assets safe. You’ll adapt quickly to new environments and deliver high‑quality service wherever you’re needed.
Operational Excellence
* Follow all site policies and Assignment Instructions (AI’s).
* Adjust to changing site needs and suggest ways to improve service.
* Always work within industry guidelines, displaying correct licences.
Training & Development
* Complete mandatory training to keep your skills sharp.
* Embrace additional learning opportunities to advance your career.
* Make use of technology to stay up to date on processes.
* Renew your SIA licence 16 weeks before expiry.
Security & Safety
* Spot and report Health & Safety risks immediately.
* Stay alert to suspicious behaviour or security threats.
* Log incidents accurately and follow the correct reporting procedures.
* Make required check calls on time.
* Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, emergency services and the Mitie Communications Centre.
What You’ll Bring

* ✔ Valid SIA licence (SC clearance a bonus)
