Your purpose will be:
To carry out all required duties within the Back of House department and all related areas and ensure 5-star safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
Job Description
1. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including washing, disinfecting, and polishing equipment, floors, walls, and kitchen areas
2. Comply with Health and Safety regulations, especially COSHH and Manual Handling, and attend all provided training sessions
3. Assist in the preparation and distribution of operating equipment for functions, inventories, and other requirements
4. Empty bins, clear and sort refuse according to hotel policy, and maintain cleanliness of refuse areas
5. Support cleaning efforts during peak periods in back-of-house areas
6. Help maintain cleanliness of staff facilities, including locker rooms
7. Ensure personal hygiene and grooming standards are consistently met
Please note that we believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to perform different tasks from time to time to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues
Qualifications
8. 1-3 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry
9. Intermediate communication skills, both written & verbal.
10. Able to work well under pressure in fast-paced and changing environment
11. Proven organizational skills, work well on their own, able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
12. Willing to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
13. A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization
