Overview
Regional Sales Manager Chemical and Food Industry — UK & Ireland. Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme.
This role involves generating sales growth in the designated region and markets, developing strong customer relationships, and promoting our equipment and (line) solutions.
What we are looking for
An enthusiastic results-driven leader with a proven track record in Sales in the Chemical and/or Food industry and ready for the next step in your career. You are involved in and responsible for:
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
* Visiting potential customers and maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers and prospects.
* Providing advice to customers in collaboration with the executing departments on technical solutions.
* Identifying desired product/solution developments by the customers and discussing them with the Capital Sales Director.
* Launching new products/solutions in the assigned region in consultation with the Capital Sales Director and Product Manager(s).
* Proposing product improvements and ideas for new product development.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant Sales experience in selling capital equipment.
* Understanding of technical processes, industry jargon, and competition.
* Experience with food and/or chemical processes and their is a plus
* Proficiency in various software programs such as CRM, MS Office.
* Excellent command of English language in both written and verbal communication
* Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland.
* Experience in working in a global team
