Job Description – Front of House Supervisor

At Caramello, we're a fast-paced brunch and lunch restaurant known for our house-made food and drinks. As the first fully halal brunch spot in Manchester, we take pride in setting the standard for quality and hospitality, and we're always striving to be the best.

As a Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the management team to maintain our high standards of service and product quality. You'll lead by example on the floor—motivating the team, ensuring smooth and successful shifts, and making sure every guest leaves with a smile.

You'll bring energy, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence to every shift. With your leadership, Caramello will continue to be a go-to destination for the local community. This is a hands-on role that requires drive, resilience, and a true love for hospitality.

Your daily duties will include:

* Overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
* Supervise staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development.
* Manage food preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service timing.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area.
* Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
* Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills

* Proven supervising experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
* Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
* Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.

Pay: £12.85 per hour
