We're looking for a Designer Naval Architect to join our Naval Architecture team in the marine industry. Our client, is responsible for the structures, stability, equipment, and human factors across all their floating assets. They are seeking a graduate level Naval Architect Designer to support the existing fleet, new construction projects, and the development of new equipment. Your role will involve collaborating with other Engineering colleagues, Production, Procurement, Maintenance, and Operations teams to produce innovative and cost-effective engineering and design solutions.

Your Role
As a Designer Naval Architect, your main responsibilities will include:
Assisting with design and development work and configuration change control of technical documentation
Ensuring that the design of the company's plant, equipment, and procedures are developed in accordance with EAM Processes and Standards
Working within the EAM delivery and project cells, following the agreed timescales and processes
Acting as a designated engineering signatory in accordance with the EAM authority
Providing technical support to coastal staff and volunteers
Conducting technical investigations, troubleshooting, trials, and data analysis
Getting involved in other ad hoc tasks and projects as required
About You
To be considered for this role, you need:
An accredited Naval Architecture (or equivalent) engineering qualification at level 5 or equivalent
A dynamic and motivated attitude with a positive approach, able to collaborate and perform under pressure
The ability to develop novel strategies and innovate to improve operational delivery
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
