Role Overview:
Teaching Assistants will work closely with classroom staff to provide hands-on support for pupils’ learning and development. No previous school experience is necessary—candidates with a background in support work, nurseries, or related fields are encouraged to apply. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, supporting communication and behaviour management, and helping children engage positively in their learning.
Key Requirements:
Willingness to support children with special educational needs
Background in support work, nurseries or similar beneficial but not essential
Ability to work flexibly with primary and secondary age pupils
Must have a Child Workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one at own cost
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Full availability to start now or in September, pending clearance to work checks
