The Head Teacher is looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) on a permanent basis. The successful LSA will be supporting students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) within a mainstream secondary setting.
This school is seeking a proactive and nurturing individual who can build strong relationships with students, provide tailored classroom support, and work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure every learner reaches their full potential. The role will be vital in promoting engagement, confidence, and positive outcomes for students.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Strong behaviour management skills
The ability to support learning both one-to-one and in small groups
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent – desirable but not essential)
