Are you a skilled Reliability Technician with a passion for precision, data-driven maintenance, and continuous improvement? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading industrial service provider who is looking to expand their team with a dedicated professional to support and enhance reliability on a key client site.
Job Details
* Job Title: Reliability Lead
* Location: Hull
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30 (1-hour lunch break)
* Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team focused on delivering high standards in equipment reliability and performance. Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out Vibration Analysis routes and interpreting data
* Completing root cause analysis following equipment failures
* Identifying and implementing reliability improvements to reduce downtime and increase Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
* Collaborating closely with on-site teams to implement effective, measurable reliability initiatives
* Executing tasks efficiently, with minimal disruption to operations
* Proactively suggesting improvements in manufacturing processes and equipment reliability
* Supporting shutdown activities and day-to-day reliability operations
* Maintaining excellent standards of safety and compliance at all times
* Communicating effectively around change and supporting implementation
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a motivated and technically proficient individual with:
* CAT 1 Vibration Analysis training
* Proficiency in Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) tools
* Practical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
* Understanding of relevant legislation and modern maintenance techniques
* NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds Part 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
* Broad knowledge of engineering fundamentals
* Intermediate Food Hygiene & IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
