Job summary

A day in the life of a Senior Home Care Assistant
* Health and Wellbeing - You will provide support, companionship, conversation and engagement with your clients
* Personal care - You will support your clients with bathing, dressing and oral care
* Meals and domestic tasks -You will help the client to prepare and eat healthy meals, snacks and beverages. You will assist in light cleaning tasks
* Mobility - You will support the client with moving around their home to enable them to live as independently as possible.
* Social activities - You will encourage and support with trips out, social engagements and activities in the client's home
* Medication -You will prompt, assist or administer medications and creams
* Mentorship - As a senior care assistant you will support new staff in their induction period and mentor them
* Spot checks -You will occasionally carry out spot checks and supervisions as directed by your Registered Manager
