About the Role

Ormiston Academies Trust is looking for two enthusiastic IT Technicians with strong communication skills to support staff and students across several sites in west London. The role will be primarily based at Ormiston Bridge Academy but the successful candidate should travel across all London sites. The IT Technician role includes first and some second line technical support, with the opportunity to be involved in the implementation of our cloud-first programme. IT Technicians are critical to developing strong, effective relationships with staff and will help manage cloud-first projects, providing technical direction, support and guidance to technicians and staff, and working closely with senior staff at each site to align technology with educational goals.
Responsibilities
* Provide IT support in a workplace environment (first and some second line).
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, mobiles).
* Assist with the implementation and management of cloud-first initiatives across multiple sites.
Qualifications
* Experienced in providing IT support in a workplace environment.
* Skilled in troubleshooting hardware, software, and devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, mobiles).
* Confident using Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
* Able to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
