Overview
Join to apply for the Administration Assistant role at Sodexo at Central Manchester Hospital, Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9WL. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with a salary of £24,071 per annum. This position involves supporting the smooth operation of facilities, governance, compliance, and operational performance, and fostering collaboration between onsite operations, the Trust, and ProjectCo to deliver excellent soft services.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the operational team onsite, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Assist team members with meeting deadlines, cover duties as needed, and support diary management, appointment booking, and follow-up activities.
* Manage visitor coordination, liaising with internal and external guests, hosting visitors, and maintaining high standards of site hospitality.
* Handle travel and hotel bookings for team members and coordinate the ordering and return of IT hardware, stationery, and other supplies.
* Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation systems (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI), including compiling reports, presentations, and contact details.
* Ensure compliance with company policies through audits; highlight gaps to the Line Manager and support communication tasks to cascade information internally and externally.
* Attend meetings and training, complete mandatory training requirements, and support the team in maintaining efficient administrative processes.
What You Bring
* NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent.
* Previous experience managing a range of administration support functions.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent numerical and verbal skills; strong communication, organisational and administration skills with attention to detail.
* Experience in an environment where confidentiality is important.
* Articulate and thorough, with attention to detail; resilient and adaptable.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team; proactive with initiative.
* Experience in similar busy roles with high standards; multi-country or multicultural teamwork is a plus.
* Demonstrates discretion and ability to handle confidential issues.
