In your first year, you'll attend Engineering Trust in Bicester to learn basic maintenance engineering skills.
Then, you’ll apply this knowledge on-site, learning from skilled engineers.
The 4-year apprenticeship, a partnership between Collins Aerospace and Engineering Trust, covers:
* Understanding technical documentation
* Performing system diagnosis, repairs, and modifications
* Becoming multi-skilled when required
* Applying safe, efficient methods to maintain machinery
* Liaising with external service and parts providers
* Assisting in Root Cause Analysis and identifying improvements
