Theyre now moving from early concept into alpha prototype and detailed design, and theyre looking for an Electronics Engineer who wants real ownership, real impact, and real technical challenge.Youll be joining a small, highly capable team of two who span hardware and firmware, at a pivotal point where your design decisions will directly shape the product that goes into manufacture and ultimately into clinical use.Youll be an experienced Electronics Engineer whos comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions, rather than just executing someone elses design.Essential experience: Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)At least 2+ years industry experienceStrong proficiency with Altium Designer, CAD software, or other PCB design technologiesExcellent debug skills and confidence working in the labUnderstanding of EMC and safety complianceExperience with DFM / DFTComfortable with soldering and reworkHands-on use of lab equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, VNA)Nice to have (but not essential): Medical device development experienceExposure to ISO 14971 risk managementFamiliarity with IEC 60601-1 and related standardsHF / RF design experienceTools such as Keysight ADSFirmware experience, particularly with ST or Nordic SemiconductorWhy this role stands out Youll work on a product that genuinely saves livesYoull have real ownership, not just a small slice of the designThe team is small, focused, and highly skilled no layers of bureaucracyEngineers here consistently talk about how valued and trusted they feelIts an exciting growth phase, with tough technical problems to solveOpen to engineers from start-ups or larger organisationsThe role is based in a central Glasgow office, ideal for engineers who enjoy collaboration and hands-on development.
