The Recruiting Group conducts Assessment Centres (AC) for candidates wanting to become a soldier in the British Army. This dual role includes performing standard medical tests as well as administrative duties.
No medical experience required – full training provided.
Location: Pirbright Assessment Centre, Surrey
Hours: 37.5 per week, with occasional Saturday work (TOIL available)
What you'll be doing:
* Carrying out routine medical screening tests, such as audiometry, ECG, vision, height/weight, BMI, urinalysis and spirometry
* Preparing and managing medical documentation and ID verification
* Recording results accurately in both written and digital formats
* Liaising with healthcare professionals and external agencies
* Handling general admin tasks including correspondence, filing and photocopying
Essential qualification/skills/experience
* Must be IT literate and comfortable using the in‑house database
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions and processes
* Comfortable in carrying out physical checks on potential recruits
Desirable qualification/skills/experience
* Experience within a medical environment is desirable
* Familiarity with the army would be an advantage
