<div><h3>Vacancy Introduction</h3><p>The Leeds Community based Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service has an exciting opportunity to recruit a fixed term band 7 MSK Physiotherapist to work as part of an extensive First Contact Practitioner (FCP) team (until the end March 2027). There will be some opportunity to work as part of the core MSK service, to integrate with the team and gain invaluable Leeds MSK pathway knowledge. This is primarily an FCP role. We are looking for an enthusiastic MSK Physiotherapist who has already completed their FCP competencies, either through the taught University or supervised portfolio route.</p><h3>You Will Be Responsible For</h3><ul><li>Your own independent FCP caseload, undertaking assessment, diagnosis and first line management of patients in primary care.</li><li>Managing your own independent MSK Tier 2 clinic, overseeing patients with a wide range of health needs, including complex multi‑pathology cases.</li><li>Identifying patient needs, agreeing goals, and providing appropriate therapy interventions.</li><li>Keeping the patient at the centre of care, ensuring the patient is engaged in a shared decision‑making approach.</li><li>Liaising with other health care professionals within the GP practices and within the wider MSK team.</li></ul><p>You will be based in one or more PCN sites across the city and also within one MSK hub site. It is essential that you are flexible and prepared to travel to different venues according to the needs of the service. Applicants must have the ability to travel independently across the city, or have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. Adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.</p><p>We have a strong emphasis on clinical supervision and in‑service training. The MSK service is actively involved in research, having participated and run clinical trials.
