Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, while adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
* Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
* Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
Skills
* Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure the health and well-being of customers.
* Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
* Proficient in basic maths for handling cash transactions and calculating change accurately.
* Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
* A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
