The LSO Concerts Department is currently in need of a Stage Manager to assist in the planning and operation of various stage management activities, event setups, venue support, and instrument transportation requirements. The primary focus of this role will be at the LSO St Luke’s venue. The department is responsible for managing the overall operations of the London Symphony Orchestra’s concerts andevents.
The Stage and Transport team, which forms part of the Operations department, comprises four Stage Managers who work alongside the Facilities, Technical, and Percussion Hire teams. They all report to the Operations Manager. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of concerts andevents.
The Stage Manager position is primarily based at LSO St Luke’s in London. However, the role may require attendance at events taking place outside of this venue, both in London and across the UK. Due to the nature of the work, the Stage Manager will be expected to work evenings andweekends.
