Business Manager / Project Coordinator (Part-Time, Fixed-Term)
Liverpool (Hybrid) | £13,500 per year (based on 20hrs/week) | Jan–Dec 2026 | Equipment budget included
We're looking for someone to help keep a focused digital project on track — a calm, capable operator who can juggle the day-to-day while staying aligned with the bigger picture.
This isn't just admin. You'll help keep the team organised, ensure things move forward on time, and support the wider business from day one — across operations, communication, and helping to shape a new marketing presence.
What you'll be doing
* Track milestones, update project documentation, and prep simple reports
* Handle day-to-day coordination between stakeholders, clients, and team members
* Manage diaries, meeting notes, scheduling, and inbox follow-ups
* Help kickstart our marketing efforts — including launching a basic social media presence
* Support wider business activities alongside the founder — including internal organisation and proposal support
Who this suits
This would suit someone early in their career with strong organisation and communication skills — whether you're a graduate or have a couple of years of admin, ops, or project support experience under your belt.
* Naturally organised and detail-focused
* Comfortable handling both structured work and shifting priorities
* Confident communicator — phone, email, and face-to-face
* Flexible and practical — happy to jump between tasks as needed
* Invested in the work, with a realistic understanding of how small teams operate
* Bonus if you've worked in education, charity, digital, or project-driven environments
Location & working hours
This is a hybrid role, but during the early stages of the project you'll be expected to work from the office full-time to get embedded in the team and ways of working.
Once you're up to speed and confident in the role, we'll shift to a flexible mix of in-person and remote working. We're also flexible about how the 20 hours are spread across the week.
What's on offer
* £13,500 salary (equivalent to £27k full-time)
* 12-month fixed-term contract (Jan–Dec 2026)
* Choose-your-own equipment budget
* Flexible hours and hybrid working
* Casual dress and relaxed environment
* Birthday treats, occasional team lunches, and a Christmas party
You'll play a key part in keeping things steady, joining the dots, and making sure nothing important slips through the cracks. It's a role with variety, visibility, and the chance to make a real impact across both the project and the wider business.
