As a Lab Technician, you’ll work alongside our team of consultants, engineers and technicians to deliver dimensional, pressure and temperature calibrations for a wide client base. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll also support the wider delivery team who conduct full-scale asset testing, pipeline repair and intervention projects. What you’ll do: Conduct dimensional, pressure and temperature calibrations within a UKAS accredited laboratory Record and validate calibration data with a high level of accuracy Produce calibration certificates and technical reports Maintain asset registers and maintenance records Support a wider delivery team in flow testing, flow calibration and other operational activities Participate in safety meetings and ensure compliance with operational procedures Communicate effectively with technical colleagues, clients and stakeholders Co-ordinate the collection, receipt and return of client assets If you’re a motivated team player with a commitment to excellence, we’d love to hear from you. Qualifications What you’ll bring: Practical experience within an engineering, laboratory or technical environment A technical understanding of measured results, calibration principles and measurement uncertainties Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong communication skills, with experience of report writing and data analysis Excellent organisational skills with the initiative to prioritise tasks and deliver outstanding results A flexible, positive attitude and commitment to working safely The ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy environment NVQ Level 3 in Engineering would be beneficial but is not essential Security and compliance with statutory requirements in the countries in which we operate is essential for DNV.
