About the Role
ML Talent Partners Ltd is seeking a proactive and experienced Finance Manager to join a growing business. This is a newly created, stand-alone role offering autonomy and the opportunity to shape the finance function as the company develops.
Day-to-day duties will include:
Daily reconciliation Xero & Aldermore
Debt chasing and managing overdue invoices (60+ days), initiating legal action where required
Raising PBL invoices
Preparing intermediary payment reports for HMRC
Completing CIS returns (monthly)
Paying suppliers and issuing monthly client statements
Producing P&L and balance sheets (monthly)
Managing invoicing (weekly)
Running weekly payroll for temporary staff and monthly payroll (including payslips)
Preparing Aldermore monthly returns and reports
Submitting VAT returns (quarterly)
Handling personal tax returns (for Directors)
Preparing for year-end accounts
Uploading receipts via Hubdoc
Producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
Qualified by experience or AAT certified
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Highly organised with a can-do attitude
Comfortable working independently in a stand-alone role
Motivated by the opportunity to shape and grow the finance function in a developing business
